Valdosta has lots of parks to choose from! Visit any of these parks for some fun in the sun. Many offer rentals that can be used for birthday parties or family reunions. Azalea City Trail(2.7 miles)
From Vallotton Youth Complex on Woodlawn Drive to Craig Center on West Gordon Street.The Azalea City Trail is a wonderful addition to our city, providing a 2.7 mile trail through the city, beginning at the Vallotton Youth Complex and ending at the Craig Center on Gordon St. It is a convenient multipurpose trail, whether you would like to take a nice long stroll, go on a bike ride, skate, or take your dog on a walk, it can accommodate your needs. There are several benches to rest at, along with dog bag dispensers along the way. No Fee

Chitty Park(2 Acres)

Clyattville Community Park(10 Acres)
4377 Old Clyattville Rd, on Hwy 31, across RR, right on Clyattville. Shelter with Picnic Tables (seats 60) ($25 fee), Restrooms, 1 Grill, Basketball Court, Playground, Swings,Water Fountain, 1/4 Mile Walking Track, Softball Field.Clyattville Community Park is a 10 acre park that offers a wide variety of activities. The picnic pavilion can hold up to 60 people. Use it to entertain friends and family for a birthday party, cookout or reunion. There is a 1/4 mile walking trail, and a playground for the kids. There is also a basketball court and a softball field to play on and the water fountain and restrooms for your convenience as well.

Drexel Park(11.1 Acres)
1401 N. Patterson Street
Playground, Picnic Area, No Shelters, No Restrooms, 4 Sections for Rent ($25 Fee). Drexel Park has been a host for numerous activities in Valdosta. The Azalea Festival is our largest festival, along with tailgating before home football games and other local events. This 11 acre park is a beautiful park to take pictures in, have a picnic, enjoy watching your children play on the playground or relax on one of our benches.

J. W. Saunders Park, formally known as ‘Barber Park’, is an ‘all around’ superb park. With in it’s 34 acres, there are 2 Basketball Courts, a playground, water splash area for the kids to play in, a nature trail, an amphitheater, a concession stand, bathrooms,1 Large Picnic Pavilion, which is a great location for Family Reunions, and 5 small shelters.

There are 3 Picnic Pavilions with grills, that are ideal for Birthday Party’s,a Volleyball Court, 8 Tennis Courts, 2 Playgrounds, picnic tables and beautiful scenery with a creek streaming through
the middle of the park.
