The construction of this website is a component of a master plan developed by the Healthy Living Task Force to improve access to proper nutrition and physical activity in Valdosta and the surrounding area. The plan was developed by representatives from Public Health, Valdosta State University, the Valdosta City School System, the Lowndes County School System, the City of Valdosta, the Southern Georgia Regional Commission and the Lowndes County Partnership for Health. The development of the plan and this website were funded by the State of Georgia’s Chronic Disease Prevention Program.
